I've cut myself many times but haven't required stitches for the knife wounds. It seems that the only things that cut me aren't knives. More like a hockey stick shaft when I was 12 on my left knee (13 stitches), metal banding 2 separate times (6 stiches total), spiraled culvert pipe (3 stitches). Sharp (some) but not knives.
