The bridge is the Ravanell Bridge, connects Mount Pleasant to Charleston. It replaced a rickty twin bridge that was downright scary to cross. The new one is 4 lanes in each direction. It's like driving on a freeway instead of a bridge.

I really like the lighting on that Ravenell....pretty neat. If i had a better camera (using a small digicam), I would've taken some decent night pics of that bridge I posted in color....man it was phenomenal.
