Todd, thanks for sharing that. I have heard of Drexel before, I would love to see some of those pieces. In the near future I am going to take pics of some things my Papa made out of wood and post them up. He was a wood carver and people from all over wanted his carvings. He and I carved some shoes for a state fair when I was in elementary school---------I took 2nd place and he took 1st place in folk art division.

We all worked at Drexel Heritage, it was the biggest employer in the county at one time. They had 7 or 8 factories. The whole family worked there at one point, my parents both retired from Drexel, as did my paternal grandparents. I worked in the finishing room for a couple years, then left to go into machining.
