So far, I'm really impressed. It compares pretty closely with the Scrapper5, even fits the Savage sheath I got the other day. First impression of the RMD is I really like the full-length tang, and the black paper micarta scales have a good feel to them. I prefer the mudder grips for the better grip they seem to provide though. Both blades seem pretty capable, with the nod going to the RMD for the larger choil. I would feel comfortable with either as my EDC knife. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Congrats on the RMD. You are correct it does feel a lot like the S5 in the blade. I actually prefer the RMD in the 5" arena over the S5 because of the balance in hand. Eiter way the S5 and RMD are a great knife.
