I am a poor man!!! I like Cuervo.
But the Hangover!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hangover = lots of impurities (higher alcohols that were not removed properly during distillation).

I'm sure there are some decent, hand made tequilas that aren't outrageously expensive.

Any suggestions?

I tell you the BEST tequila I ever had was in Puerto Vallarta. I went on a Horseback ride on a ranch in the hills of Jalisco and they hand made their own tequila in small batches. I bought a 3L barrel full and brought it home (pre 911 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />) and it was outrageous! cost me a whopping 35 bucks too! Had I known I would have bought the whole shack they sold it out of!!!!

you cant go wrong with any EL TESORO tequila. and its only 49 bucks here in ca. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
