Yeah, recruiters tend to lie, or not even know the right answer, but they'll make something up to string you along. Even a seasoned recruiter might not have all the answers. The reserves is the way to go though, if she wants to get her education. Basic training counts as 30 college credits for the Army, not sure what it is for Air Force, basic being shorter and all. Plus, if she picked a Medical MOS, she'd get extensive training and hands on training that can't be had in a classroom, and she won't have to pay for hardly anything.
