Jared, not sure if this is out of place....but I recall you being new to firearms. If you get the opportunity, take a look at getting a couple of good .22 lr caliber guns...maybe a long arm and a pistol, or just a pistol even. They are super fun, good for training, cheap, and can be helpful to "engage" your SO in the shooting sports as the recoil is null. Just wasn't sure if someone had recommended that to you in the past, but I really enjoy my .22's!
